Madhavan, MD, Star South.
Speaking about the event, Mr. Mohan Lal said, “Kerala witnessed the worst floods in recorded memory resulting in unprecedented calamity. It is the responsibility of each one of us to contribute to rebuilding the lives of those affected. We decided that a show by AMMA and Asianet would be the best way to generate funds for this noble cause.”
Rebuild Kerala
The main highlights of the show would be the performances by superstars, leading actors and actresses of the Malayalam movie industry. To add up to the entertainment, the show will also have dance, skits and music performances by leading celebrities.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Madhavan added, “For 25 years, Asianet has given its viewers pioneering and dramatic content and it is the love and support of our viewers which drive us. Even after 3 months of the floods, said to be the worst in the last 100 years, people are still struggling to come back to normal life. This shows the extent of devastation and the damages caused by flood. We all need to come forward and support to rebuild our State. Asianet is more than happy to come forward and join hands with AMMA for supporting and rebuilding Kerala. We also urge our business partners and our viewers to help Kerala by extending their support for this show.”
Summing up, Mr. Mohan Lal stated “We are privileged to join hands with ASIANET for this noble cause. I appeal to everyone to come forward and join hands in rebuilding our Kerala.”
