Former minister and sitting mla C Divakaran is the LDF Candidate for Thiruvananthapuram constituency. CPI today announced 3 candidates , Another sitting MLA Chittayam Gopakumar is Mavelikkara candidate. Congress’s Shashi Tharoor is the sitting Member of parliament of Trivandrum. This is the second time he is electing from Trivandrum, he may contest once again from this constituency. BJP have high expectations here, they didn’t finalized the candidate yet. Report says O Rajagopal will try his luck again here, he is currently elected from Nemom Assembly segment. Ldf given 4 seats to cpi, presently they have only one member of parliament, he is from Trissur.
