Myself asked this question to kairali tv, why are you repeating tamil dubbed films in movie schedule. channel have rights of many classic , 80’s films and those movies not showing now. answer is simple, Tamil Dubbed Films of Vijay, ajith , surya etc films getting decent trp ratings for the channel. every they are crossing 100+tvr because of this films. many other channels now interested to purchase malayalam dubbed rights of tamil movies. kairali tv already have a large library of other language dubbed films. It contains evergreen films like Indian, Nayakan, Chinnathambi, Basha etc.

here is some major kairali tv dubbed movies, we will try to update the list. Major films of Ilayathalapathy’s malayalam dubbed versions belongs to Kairali TV, Mersal was the latest addition. Asianet and Kairali jointly purchased Mersal, it was one of the prime time attractions during 2018 Onam season. Kuruvi, Shivakasi , Gilli, Jilla etc films getting average 1+ tvr for every telecast. Just imagine, Gangster movie premier show scored below 1 point, they spend around 5 cr to purchase the film. Financially purchasing rights of latest films is feasible for them.
